Well i think that the boy in the story is not shy.I think he is not shy because he met the girl jen and he was not scared to talk to her because she was a shaddow child too.He thought she was like one of his family members because i guess he thought that all shadow children must have been family members. But he was scared that the people were looking or spying on himand jen and i really liked the story...!!!!!

And if she does why.Because there suppost to be friends and if they are not jen must be playing him because she acts like she really does wanna be firends with her and i would be really mean because s he eally likes her.....as a friend and i would never ever do this to one of my frends i would just tell them that i dot want to be there friend im not aying that jen does not want to be his friend im just asking.

I think that Luke was really scared when he first met Jen because he didn't know if she was safe or if she would have him taken away by the Population Police! Would you have taken the risk of leaving your house to see who the child was that moved in next door??
Make sure you respond to the correct post so everyone can see your thoughts. :-)

Question: Did you ever starve when you were up in the attic?
Answer:Yes,sometimes I did. Because everyone would forget I was up in the attic. (even mom) But eventually mom,Mark, or Mathew will remember about me.

To Ms.Thom: This book reminded me about the book SO B. IT. It reminded me of that book because many things happened where Heidy had to have help from new people and, have trust.
